12 days of ornaments (eight)

This mitten is cute and easy. The stem is stitched using floss and silk ribbon embroidery makes up the leaves and berries. I sewed the cuff on by machine, then buttonhole-stitched the whole thing together, and added a ribbon hanger. Viola! Another cute ornament.

It is adorable! Is the cuff a double piece, or just a single sewn on and cut at the top? I can't quite tell. I love it!

Susan,
A separate red cuff is actually machine-stitched onto each white mitten piece. I made the cuffs extra long, so then each red cuff is folded to the inside of the mitten and held there by the buttonhole stitches that attach the front and back mitten pieces together. That gives it a nice, but easy finish at the top.
